According to the abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "A method and device for implementing the admission control are disclosed in the present invention, wherein the method includes: when a base station controller receives a bandwidth admission application, if the sum of the bandwidth of the bandwidth admission application and the accumulative total application bandwidth locates in the preset overbooking range, judging whether the sum of the bandwidth of the bandwidth admission application and the currently used actual bandwidth value is beyond the bandwidth stable work range, if yes, the bandwidth admission application is rejected, wherein the bandwidth position of the overbooking range is higher than the bandwidth position of the bandwidth stable work range. The present invention utilizes the feedback mechanism to dynamically correct the distributable bandwidth so as to bear more service access in the condition of the limited internet protocol (IP) transmission resource."
